Micro System Headset

The Micro System Headset is a new generation of headset which forms the basis for an intercom system designed specifically for use in very high noise environments where wind noise may also be a problem.

Micro System Headsets can be connected to a radio via a range of interface units and are fully compatible with all available radio transceivers.

The headset is a noise attenuation and provides hearing protection in noise levels up to 110dB(A).

The microphone is mounted in a rubber anti-shock holder and is protected by a foam wind shield that can be removed easily for cleaning or replacement.

The headset speakers are housed in acoustically balanced enclosures which seal the headset against moisture and also allow the ear-cups o be cleaned hygienically.

Each headset battery can be recharged up to one thousand times, and does not suffer from Memory effect. All Lynx headsets are fitted with Silicone Gel ear seals and are fully adjustable.

Dual Charger

The Dual Charger allows two Lynx Micro System Headsets to be charged from the mains supply.

Charging lights are provided on the front of the charger which indicate when a headset is connected and charging.

The charger is supplied with a separate interchangeable mains lead for use in each country or region and can be used with mains supplies from 110 Volts to 240 Volts.

Additional mains leads and adapters are available for customers who wish to use their charger while traveling to different countries

Headset Switching Adapter

The Headset Switching Adapter is used to switch-on a single Micro System Headset.

Using the headset in this way allows the level of background noise to be set using the headset volume control and is useful to maintain some environmental feedback in certain applications.

The adapter is also useful for testing headsets and can be used to establish if individual headsets are charged and functioning correctly.

Headset Bag

A soft cloth bag used to store an individual headset. The bag is made from fleece cloth and incorporates a drawstring closure. The bag provides suitable protection for a headset when not being used

Headset Coupling Adapter

The Headset Coupling Adapter is used to connect on Micro System Headset directly to another Micro System Headset.

When used with the adapter, the headsets form a stand-alone intercom which provides a minimum of fifty hours use between charges.

Connecting tow headsets together with the adapter is particularly useful where there is no need for radio communication. In this situation, the self contained intercom provides an extremely simple and practical intercom solution.
